Retour au fil d'actualité

The Swiss parliamentary elections of 2021 have seen a return to the status quo, with the Green Party losing out and the Swiss People's Party (SVP) regaining its former strength. This is seen as a sign of stability in a time of global uncertainty, with the country acting as a ‘haven of stability’. The Corona-Massnahmen-Kritiker of Mass-Voll, Aufrecht and so on have not made any significant gains, and the SVP has not been able to exceed its record result of 2015. This shows that the Swiss electorate has not chosen to take a radical approach, despite the current climate of insecurity. The Green Party’s losses can be attributed to their failure to convert their success in 2019 into real politics. Overall, the election results demonstrate that the Swiss have returned to a state of normalcy.
