Woman injured after jumping from the roof of a burning house

A 32-year-old woman was injured when she jumped from the roof of a burning house in Wünnewil FR on Friday night. She was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The fire broke out shortly before midnight. When the emergency services arrived, the roof of the building was in flames, according to the Fribourg cantonal police.
The woman was only able to save herself from the flames by jumping from the roof. Two other people made it out of the house unharmed. They could be accommodated elsewhere.
It is still unclear how the fire started. The police have begun an investigation into the cause of the fire, as they write. The house was completely destroyed by the flames. No animals were kept on the farm.
