The Lucerne Criminal Court has handed down its verdict on the eight people involved in the brawl at a petrol station in Geuensee. The main defendant was found guilty of murder with intent.
He has been given a prison sentence of 14 years and 4 months as well as a 15-year ban from the country, as the judges of the criminal court announced at the sentencing hearing on Monday afternoon.
In 2021, during a physical altercation between two groups, he killed one of the participants with a knife and seriously injured several people, which is why he was also found guilty of attempted murder with intent.
A total of six of the eight accused were found guilty of involvement in the scuffle. Two people who were present at the time but did not actively participate in the scuffle were acquitted.
