Volker Reinthaler Steps Up as Axa Switzerland’s New CFO: A Seamless Transition from Risk to Finance.
Axa Switzerland will have a new Head of Finance in March. The company has found an internal solution to succeed Alain Zweibrucker in the person of Volker Reinthaler, the current Head of Risk.
Reinthaler will take up the post of Chief Financial Officer on March 1, according to a press release issued on Monday. He succeeds Zweibrucker, who was appointed CEO of Axa Retail UK at the beginning of January.
The new CFO, Reinthaler, has been responsible for risk management at Axa Switzerland since 2021 and was previously responsible for pricing and controlling in the non-life insurance business, the report continues.
