Retour au fil d'actualité

Rail traffic on the line between Weinfelden TG and Kreuzlingen TG has been interrupted at Kehlhof since February 8. There was a small landslide next to the line. The closure will last at least until the end of operations on Friday evening.

It was a "mini landslide" next to the track, SBB informed the Keystone-SDA news agency last week. The interruption was a preventative measure.

The tracks were not buried. However, the slope must now be stabilized, SBB announced on Monday afternoon. To this end, material is being removed and the slope drained. This work and the subsequent measurements took several days.

The route between Weinfelden and Kehlhof will therefore remain closed until at least Friday evening. Passengers wishing to use the route between Zurich and Constance via Weinfelden should take the Romanshorn route. From Frauenfeld, an express bus will also run to Kreuzlingen without stopping. Replacement buses will also be running for travelers between Berg and Weinfelden.
