Swiss expedition to Aconcagua for children’s rights

Three Swiss mountaineers from the aid organization CyberDodo Global have climbed the Argentinean seven-thousander Aconcagua in the Andes to remind people of children's rights and the importance of environmental protection.
The ascent of the summit, which is exactly 6961 meters high, was carried out by Manuel Martin, the founder of CyberDodo, his son Mallory and Aleksandar Franceschi, a member of CyberDodo. It was supervised by the experienced Nepalese mountaineer Nimal Purja, according to a statement from the organization.
The team unfurled a Swiss flag on the summit of Aconcagua. The expedition thus commemorated the successful first ascent of the Argentinian peak by Matthias Zurbriggen in 1897.
