Datasite acquires Zurich’s Sherpany, the undisclosed deal will go through pending final conditions.
It’s being reported that Datasite, an American SaaS entity, has acquired Sherpany, a Zurich-based software firm specializing in reporting and meeting management. This acquisition, finalized with undisclosed terms.
Sherpany, established in 2011, has contributed to the efficiency of board and general meetings through its software solutions. The acquisition by Datasite is intended to augment its product range with advanced functionalities aimed at improving board collaboration and organizational efficiency.
Despite the potential benefits, the lack of disclosed terms casts a shadow over the deal’s transparency, leaving outsiders speculating about the valuation and strategic intentions behind the acquisition.
Set to close in Q1 2024 if final conditions are met. Sherpany will continue to operate as a distinct entity, with the investment of Datasite backing them.
