Retour au fil d'actualité

In the general elections in the canton of Uri, after 14 of the 19 municipalities have been counted, four of the five current members of the cantonal government achieve an absolute majority. Two new candidates also achieve an absolute majority.

The absolute majority of 4314 votes has been achieved by the current councillors Christian Arnold (SVP, 6271 votes), Urs Janett (FDP, 5908 votes), Daniel Furrer (center, 4787 votes) and Urban Camenzind (center, 4708 votes). SP government councillor Dimitri Moretti has so far collected 3,683 votes, which means that the absolute majority has not yet been reached.

As things stand at present, the hurdle has also been reached by centrist district councillor Céline Huber with 4,771 votes and centrist candidate Hermann Epp (4,453 votes).

The interim estimate should be treated with caution, as five municipalities have not yet been counted.
