Une trentaine de blessés dans un accident impliquant un wagon de mai à South Baden

Around thirty people have been injured in an accident involving a Maiwagen trailer in Kandern in southern Baden. Ten people suffered serious injuries, the police announced on Wednesday. The number of injured could still increase, said a police spokesman. As things stand at present, no one has suffered life-threatening injuries.
The combination of an agricultural machine and a trailer tipped onto its side on a steep left-hand bend. The people fell out of the trailer.
The exact cause is still unclear, said a spokesperson. One possible reason for the trailer tipping over could have been excessive speed or incorrect weight distribution.
It is still unclear how many people were in the car at the time of the accident. The operation in Kandern is still ongoing.
Numerous police and emergency services personnel were on site to treat and remove the injured, including several rescue helicopters, some of them from Switzerland.
