Nine people were injured, two of them seriously, in a collision between a passenger car and a Postbus in Aristau AG on Monday morning. A 67-year-old motorist drove into the oncoming Postbus on an out-of-town stretch of road, according to the police.
The car driver was flown to hospital by rescue helicopter with serious injuries, Adrian Bieri, spokesman for the Aargau cantonal police, told regional broadcaster Tele M1. The bus driver was taken to hospital by ambulance with moderate injuries.
Seven people in the Postbus were also injured, Bieri said. The Bremgartenstrasse between Rottenschwil and Aristau was temporarily closed.
