A man was seriously injured in a shooting in Onex in the canton of Geneva on Sunday. The police arrested the suspected shooter.
The suspect has been charged with attempted murder, the Geneva public prosecutor's office confirmed to the Keystone-SDA news agency on Wednesday, according to a report in the "Tribune de Genève" newspaper.
The victim was taken to hospital. According to the public prosecutor's office, the man's life is in danger. The public prosecutor's office would not comment on the possible motives for the crime.
