Swiss flies more frequently to the USA in winter

Swiss is increasing the number of flights to several long-haul destinations in the upcoming 2024/25 winter timetable. In particular, the airline will be flying to the USA more often than before. In addition, Swiss is now also serving several of its new summer destinations in winter.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, Washington D.C., which was added as a new destination this summer, will also be among the destinations that the airline flies to in winter. The USA is also very popular with Swiss in other respects: it is increasing the number of flights to the US cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami from the winter flight schedule, which runs from October 27, 2024 to March 29, 2025.
Swiss is also offering additional long-haul flights to Shanghai in its winter timetable, the airline adds. Swiss is now also flying to the new destinations London Gatwick, Cluj-Napoca in Romania and Košice in Slovakia in winter.
From Geneva, the airline will also fly to the Norwegian capital Oslo, which was added to its portfolio this summer, in winter. The airline is also increasing frequencies from Geneva to Copenhagen, Valencia and Malaga. In total, Swiss now offers 93 destinations from Geneva and Zurich in its winter timetable.
