Amherd: “There is an increase in cyberattacks”

Switzerland is being increasingly attacked in cyberspace in the run-up to the Ukraine peace conference, as President of the Swiss Confederation Viola Amherd said on Monday. She did not provide any further details. The authorities are also preparing for a variety of risks in the coming days.
"The risks are always the same when you organize an international conference," Amherd told the media in Bern on Monday. Further attacks are expected, particularly in cyberspace. "We are more in the spotlight because we are hosting the conference," said Amherd.
