Two people died in an accident on a climbing tour near Isenfluh in the Bernese Oberland on Monday afternoon. According to the police, the victims were a 54-year-old Swiss man and a 56-year-old Swiss woman from the canton of Basel-Stadt.
Third parties immediately alerted the emergency services, as reported by the Bern cantonal police on Tuesday. However, they were only able to determine the death of the victim at the scene.
