Lucerne-Basel and Lucerne-Berne railroad lines interrupted

An incident at Sursee LU station disrupted the Lucerne-Basel and Lucerne-Berne lines on Tuesday afternoon. One person was injured. It was unclear what happened.
A spokesperson for the public prosecutor's office in Lucerne only said in the afternoon, in response to an inquiry from the Keystone-SDA news agency, that an injured person had been found on a track at Sursee station. Investigations are ongoing.
SBB recommended travelers between Bern and Lucerne to travel via Langnau BE instead of Zofingen. Travelers who wanted to travel from Basel or Olten SO in the direction of Lucerne-Gotthard or vice versa had to take a detour via Zurich.
