Zattoo appoints Roger Elsener as new CEO

Internet TV provider Zattoo, part of the TX Group, has appointed Roger Elsener as its new CEO. He succeeds Nick Brambring, who announced his resignation in June after more than twelve years at the helm of Zattoo, effective October 2024.
Elsener comes from the CH Media publishing group, where he was CEO of CH Media TV AG, among other things, as detailed in a press release issued by Zattoo on Tuesday. Before joining CH Media, he also worked for AZ Medien AG, the 3+ Group and Viacom International Media Networks.
TX Group, which is listed on the Swiss stock exchange, has held a stake in Zattoo since 2008 and has reportedly held over 50 percent of the IPTV provider since 2019.
