35,000 music fans celebrated during Energy Air on Saturday evening at the Bern Expo site. German pop star Adel Tawil, Swiss Loco Ecscrito together with Stress and rapper EAZ performed on the specially erected stage.
This year's edition of Energy Air was completely sold out, as the organizers wrote in a press release on Sunday night. Tickets for the event were only available to win.
Numerous musicians took to the stage on one evening. The organizers described the performance by Belgian singer Milow as the highlight. Other performers included rapper Manilio, singer Naomie Lareine, Swiss ESC participant Remo Forrer and the rock band Picture This.
The food on offer at the concert evening was purely vegetarian for the first time. According to the organizer, this saved an estimated 45 tons of CO2. Whether the concept will be retained for the next editions was still open.
Last year, Energy Air took place in Zurich. 50,000 visitors flocked to Zurich's Letzigrund stadium.
