65-year-old dies in Kölliken AG after car overturns

A 65-year-old driver drove his car off the road in Kölliken AG on Saturday evening and crashed into stones, trees and a fence. The car then overturned. The driver was seriously injured and died at the scene of the accident.
The man had driven straight ahead on a left-hand bend at the entrance to Kölliken, as reported by the Aargau cantonal police on Sunday. His car came to a halt lying on its roof in the front garden of a property.
Residents alerted the emergency services and provided first aid. An ambulance was quickly on the scene, but despite immediate resuscitation, the driver died at the scene, according to police reports.
