Baume-Schneider confident about new tariff structure

Health Minister Elisabeth Baume-Schneider has expressed optimism that a positive conclusion to negotiations on the new tariff structure will be reached by the end of November. "Perhaps not everything will be perfect yet, but then we can make improvements later."
"I am confident," Baume-Schneider told the media in Bern on Thursday, referring to the chances of success. However, if the tariff partners were unable to reach an agreement, the Federal Council would intervene. "We have to move forward now."
The Federal Councillor also mentioned the electronic patient file as an important measure in the healthcare system. She will provide information on this very soon.
