The FDP wants to give landlords more room for maneuver. The delegates voted in favor of the new rules on personal use and subletting. They also support the uniform financing of healthcare services.

At the FDP delegates' meeting in Tenero TI on Saturday, Geneva National Councillor Cyril Aellen said that construction activity is currently too low. On November 24, "two small steps" that could improve the situation will be voted on with the two rental bills. Both would create more legal certainty for all parties involved.

The healthcare bill aims to promote outpatient services that are cheaper than inpatient services. This is to be achieved through uniform financing by the cantons and health insurance companies, regardless of whether a treatment or procedure is carried out on an outpatient or inpatient basis or in a nursing home. At present, the cantons do not contribute financially to outpatient services.

The voting proposals were not disputed by the delegates. The FDP delegates had already decided in January to vote in favor of the fourth referendum proposal on 24 November 2024, the selective expansion of the freeway to the tune of CHF 5.3 billion. A referendum was held against all of the proposals.
