Apprentices are to receive up to 6.65 percent more pay, as was reported on Monday. Lidl employs 100 apprentices throughout Switzerland. According to the company, over 75 percent of apprentices are taken on after completing their apprenticeship.
The next pay round for other employees will take place in February and March of next year. According to the press release, the Swiss Commercial Association and the Syna trade union welcomed the retailer's decision to extend the collective labor agreement and make further adjustments.
