Federal Councillors Give Speeches in Switzerland and Indonesia

The Swiss Federal Council is embarking on a tour of speeches on the National Day of Switzerland. On Tuesday, 11 speeches will be given by the Federal Councillors. Elisabeth Baume-Schneider will give the speech at the symbolic Rütli, while Guy Parmelin will give two speeches, one at a Bauernbrunch in Schwarzsee FR and the other in Cully VD. Federal President Alain Berset will give speeches in Domdidier FR and Lausanne VD, Albert Rösti will speak in Härkingen and Lüterswil-Gächliwil, and at the Swissminiatur-Freiluftmuseum in Melide TI. Karin Keller-Sutter will celebrate in Rapperswil-Jona SG. On the evening before, Viola Amherd gave her speech in Lucerne, and Alain Berset spoke in Aegerten BE. Aussenminister Ignazio Cassis will even celebrate in Indonesia. The Federal Council's tour of speeches on the National Day of Switzerland is a symbolic way to celebrate the country's independence and unity.
