Retour au fil d'actualité

The Swiss Federal Tax Administration (ESTV) conducted a survey to assess the progress of the implementation of the OECD minimum tax for corporations in all Swiss cantons. The survey revealed that the cantons have started work on the implementation of the OECD minimum tax for corporations and are also considering new measures to promote the location. Adjustments to the tax law and subsidies are being discussed. Seven cantons (AI, BE, GL, JU, OW, VS, ZH) are currently not planning any adjustments to corporate taxation or promotional measures. The remaining cantons are considering adjustments to corporate taxes and how to use the funds from the supplementary tax, which is due if the corporate tax rate does not reach 15%. The estimated total revenue from the supplementary tax for the 13 cantons is slightly more than 500 million Swiss francs, including the federal share of 25%. The survey results show that the cantons are in the early stages of implementing the OECD minimum tax for corporations and considering measures to promote the location.nnnnnn
