21-year-old seriously injured in a brawl in Lugano

A 21-year-old man was seriously injured in a brawl in Lugano early on Sunday morning. He was transported to hospital by ambulance.
According to a statement from the public prosecutor's office and the cantonal police, there was an altercation between at least two men shortly before 06:00. The 21-year-old Italian fell to the ground after being punched and injured himself. According to an initial medical examination, he sustained serious injuries. With reference to the ongoing investigations, no further information was provided.
