49-Year-Old Dies After Crash with Hang Glider in Fiesch VS.

A 49-year-old man from the Canton of Vaud died on Saturday in Fiesch VS in a hang glider crash. The cause of the crash is still unknown. The accident happened around 11.15 am, according to the Cantonal Police. The pilot was attempting to take off from the Fiescheralp launch site. Shortly after take-off, the man crashed. Despite the quick response of rescue teams, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Federal Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation in collaboration with the Cantonal Police of Valais. The investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.nnnnnnnnnn
