A2 closed between Quinto and Faido due to vehicle fire

The A2 highway is closed in both directions between Quinto and Faido. According to the Ticino cantonal police, a truck is on fire. The police have provided further information.
The causes of the fire are still unclear, explained a media spokeswoman for the Ticino cantonal police when asked by the Keystone-SDA news agency.
