Alertswiss Calls for Vigilance in La Chaux-de-Fonds NE

After a severe storm that wreaked havoc in La Chaux-de-Fonds in the canton of Neuchâtel on Monday, the Alertswiss warning app is calling on the population to remain vigilant. The city and forestry infrastructure has been severely damaged and is unstable. Alertswiss advises people to avoid open areas, be aware of trees, towers, poles and flying objects. It also recommends keeping a safe distance from damaged buildings and power lines, and not entering the forest. People should take extra caution and remain alert to the potential dangers posed by the storm.
