Around 21 kilograms of cocaine seized at Zurich airport

Police arrested two drug couriers at Zurich Airport in Kloten on Friday and seized around 21 kilograms of cocaine. The two arrested men from Tanzania had flown to Zurich from Johannesburg in South Africa.
On entering the Schengen area, it was suspected that the 41-year-old man and the 37-year-old woman were drug couriers, as the Zurich cantonal police reported on Sunday.
The two men and their luggage were subjected to a thorough check. The cantonal police discovered around 21 kilograms of cocaine in the suitcases. The man and woman were arrested and handed over to the Zurich-Sihl public prosecutor's office, it was reported.
