The Swiss dialect band Hecht will be playing a concert in Zurich on May 25 as part of the Red Bull Jukebox. The crux of the matter: the audience can request songs or influence the genre of individual songs, as Red Bull announced on Tuesday.
Should it be "Charlotta" or rather "Kawasaki"? Fans of Hecht can use online voting to influence the setlist for the concert or contribute ideas for the stage show. There will be a total of five votes before the concert. There is also a debate about whether the song "Prosecco" should be played as a glam rock or German rap version.
Further votes are to follow during the concert at Zurich venue The Hall. We can look forward to something unique, Hecht frontman Stefan Buck was quoted as saying in the press release.
The Red Bull Jukebox format is coming to Switzerland for the first time. Hecht have won four Swiss Music Awards and are currently one of the most successful dialect bands.
