Baschi, Joya Marleen and EAZ win Swiss Music Awards

The awards ceremony for the 17th Swiss Music Awards (SMA) took place on Wednesday evening at the Hallenstadion in Zurich. Baschi from Basel and Joya Marleen from St. Gallen won in the Best Act category, EAZ for Best Hit.
Pop singer Baschi has already been nominated four times, but he has always come away empty-handed. Now the Basel native was able to take home his first stone as Best Male Act. He beat dialect rocker Gölä and rapper EAZ.
Joya Marleen won the award for Best Female Act. It is her fourth award, having won three times in 2022. The St. Gallen native beat pop singer Beatrice Egli and Aargau rock star Seraina Telli.
The rock band Züri West took the prize for Best Group, while the prize for Best Live Act went to Patent Ochsner.
Zurich rapper EAZ won the stone for Best Hit with "Juicy".
