Retour au fil d'actualité

The cantons of Bern and Zurich have launched a joint model experiment for the "U-Haft of tomorrow" in order to prevent potential damage caused by pre-trial detention. The aim is to support detained persons in maintaining their existing resources such as employment, housing or relationships, so that their personal abilities do not have to be rebuilt after release or later in the penal system. The model experiment includes measures such as those taken at entry, family work and stress and problem management. The Federal Office of Justice has approved the model experiment and is participating in it. The experiment, which is scientifically accompanied by ETH and the University of Zurich, will last until 2027. The main goal of the experiment is to improve the health and reintegration of pre-trial detainees into life in freedom.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
