A drug trafficking operation involving numerous people has been busted in Davos. The police arrested eleven people. They found drugs worth around 200,000 francs.

"Extensive investigative work" led to the discovery of the drug trafficking, as the Graubünden cantonal police announced on Tuesday. Eleven people have been arrested since the end of January for suspected drug trafficking. They are accused of selling and giving away cocaine, amphetamines and cannabis products, among other things, as individual offenders.

Five men of Swiss and German nationality, aged between 29 and 54, were remanded in custody. Three of them are still in prison.

During various local house searches, the police seized illegal drugs with a market value of around CHF 200,000. In a single house search alone, the police found over a kilogram of cocaine, several hundred grams of amphetamines and several kilograms of hashish. In addition, around 20,000 francs of suspected "drug money" was confiscated.
