Dead person found in house fire in Seengen AG

A person was found dead in a fire in a residential building in Seengen AG on Friday morning. The Aargau cantonal police are not currently assuming any wrongdoing. The public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation.
Following an emergency call at 6 a.m., the fire department was quickly on site and began extinguishing and rescue work, according to the cantonal police. They found a person who had already died in the building.
The fire was extinguished quickly. Fire investigators from the cantonal police clarified the cause of the fire on site. According to initial findings, the police do not believe that the fire was caused by a criminal act.
