Delayed construction work leads to delayed trains

There were delays of up to half an hour at Bern station on Sunday morning. This was due to the delayed opening of rail traffic following overnight construction work.
The construction work was related to the Zukunft Bahnhof Bern project, as an SBB spokesperson said on request. After the night-time work was completed, there was a delay in the opening of rail operations. This led to delays of ten minutes to a maximum of half an hour for individual trains when operations began in the early morning. From 7.50 a.m., the trains ran again according to the timetable.
