Derailment affects rail traffic between Fribourg and Bern

Rail services between Fribourg and Bern were canceled on Thursday morning between Düdingen and Schmitten FR. The reason for this was a derailment, Railinfo reported.
The restriction will last until around 10 a.m., it said. Intercity, Interregio, regional and S-Bahn trains were affected. Passengers had to put up with delays and cancellations. Replacement buses are being organized, it was added.
