Retour au fil d'actualité

Shortly after 10.30 a.m. on Saturday, a traffic jam eleven kilometers long formed in front of the north portal of the Gotthard. The cold and wet weather in German-speaking Switzerland is apparently driving people to warm and sunny Ticino.

Traffic congestion is occurring on the A2 Lucerne-Gotthard highway between Erstfeld and Göschenen in the canton of Uri, as reported by TCS on X. The time lost is up to one hour and 50 minutes.

The weather forecast for the weekend is much better for Ticino than for German-speaking Switzerland. Saturday should be sunny in Lugano with temperatures of up to 18 degrees. In German-speaking Switzerland, it will be much cooler and rainier. According to SRF Meteo, there will also be precipitation in Ticino on Sunday afternoon. In addition, the spring vacation will begin in the canton of Zurich.
