Federal Councillor Elisabeth Baume-Schneider walked the blue carpet at the European Film Awards in Lucerne on Saturday evening alongside international film stars.
President Elisabeth Baume-Schneider, who is in charge of the Federal Office of Culture, is delighted that the 37th edition of the European Film Awards is being held in Switzerland, she told the Keystone-SDA news agency. "It is of course very nice to see people who we normally see on the big screen here in such close proximity."
The 37th European Film Awards ceremony was a glamorous but also important conclusion to the film year in Switzerland, emphasized the Federal Councillor. The European Film Awards were presented in Switzerland for the first time.
