Federal Council takes a critical view of the Human Rights Court’s climate ruling

The Federal Council has expressed its criticism of the climate ruling by the European Court of Human Rights. It is of the opinion that Switzerland fulfills the climate policy requirements of the ruling, as the national government announced on Wednesday.
