Retour au fil d'actualité

Urban Angehrn, the director of Finma, the Swiss financial market regulator, has unexpectedly announced his resignation at the end of the month due to health issues. His deputy, Birgit Rutishauser, will take over the role on 1st October. Angehrn has been in charge of Finma since November 2021 and has been heavily involved in the crisis surrounding the Credit Suisse, the largest challenge in Finma's history. His decision to resign was made after considering the high and prolonged stress of the role, which had taken a toll on his health. Recently, Finma has come under criticism for its handling of the Credit Suisse situation, which ultimately led to the bank's downfall.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
