Five People Injured Due to Severe Storm in Grabs SG

At least five people were injured in Grabs SG on Saturday due to a severe thunderstorm. The storm caused unknown damage. On Saturday afternoon, a rope pulling festival was taking place in Grabs im Riet. Suddenly, around 3 pm, a violent thunderstorm swept over the festival grounds, wreaking havoc. At least five people were injured. A 44-year-old man was flown to the hospital with unspecified injuries by the AP3 air rescue. A 70-year-old woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. The other injured people were treated on site or sought medical attention on their own. At the time of the storm, there were around 200-300 people on the festival grounds. The police, local fire department, rescue with an emergency doctor, and an AP3 rescue helicopter were all on the scene.
