French President Honors Switzerland in November

On November 15th and 16th, French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Switzerland on the invitation of Swiss President Alain Berset. This will be the first visit of a French President in eight years, since Francois Hollande's visit in 2012. The visit is a result of the excellent contacts between the two presidents this year, which included meetings in London for the coronation of King Charles III, and at summit meetings in Reykjavik, Chisinau and Paris. The visit is intended to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
