Man Seriously Injured by Departing Tram in Basel

On Thursday evening in Basel, a 65-year-old man was seriously injured when he fell from a tram. According to the police, he hit his head and his leg got stuck between the tram and the platform. The driver of the tram drove off without noticing the accident. The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The incident occurred shortly after 8 pm at Barfüsserplatz.
