Migros dispenses with the organic bud for foreign products

In future, Migros wants to label Swiss organic products and products processed in Switzerland with the Bio Suisse Bud. However, the retailer will not use the Swiss organic label for imported products.
Imported and foreign-produced products under the "Migros Bio" own brand will continue to meet at least EU organic standards, according to a statement on Thursday.
Around two years ago, the "Orange Riese" decided to switch its own-brand organic products to the Bio Suisse Bud label. The plan was also to label products from abroad with the label.
