Motorcyclist dies after collision with car in Vaud

A 55-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car in the municipality of Valbroye in Vaud on Sunday. The man died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the car suffered a severe shock.
The accident occurred shortly after 6.30 p.m. on the connecting road between Prévondavaux FR and Combremont-le-Petit VD, as reported by the Vaud cantonal police on Monday. According to the report, the motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle on a right-hand bend for unknown reasons and crashed head-on into a car traveling in the opposite direction.
The public prosecutor's office has launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
