Retour au fil d'actualité

Bees are not only sympathetic but also system-relevant. In Switzerland, however, they are under pressure and need more niches and food sources. To address this, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich) and the organisation Bienen Schweiz are developing methods to help farmers quickly create valuable flowering areas. The project is supported by the Swiss Federal Office for Agriculture (BLW). Over the next three years, an agile advisory network will be built to bring research knowledge about bee habitats into agricultural practice and vice versa. At the end of the project, a toolbox with helpful materials, advice and workflows will be created. Additionally, "beacon farms" will be established to share their bee-related knowledge with other farmers.nnnnnnnnnn
