Retour au fil d'actualité

The Kantonsspital Baden (KSB) has been using a new minimally invasive method to operate on patients with pelvic floor descent since September 2022. This new unilateral pectinal suspension (UPS) technique involves fixing the uterus to the inner side of the bony pelvis with a non-absorbable thread, and takes only a third of the time of the previous method. Patients can go home the day after the operation, and have reported being satisfied with the results. The KSB is now planning to participate in a German-Swiss multicenter study to collect long-term data on the new technique. This technique has so far only been used in Baden and Biel.nnnnnn
