Nikola Dietrich becomes the new director of Liste Art Fair Basel

The sponsoring foundation of Liste Basel has elected Nikola Dietrich as the new Artistic Director of the art fair. In September, she will take over from founding director Peter Bläuer, who had taken over the management of the fair on an interim basis.
Nikola Dietrich (1972*) studied art history, modern German literature and journalism in Munich and Berlin. From 2008 to 2014, she was Head of Contemporary Art at the Kunstmuseum Basel. From 2018 to 2023, she was Director of the Kölnischer Kunstverein. She is currently curating the exhibition project KölnSkulptur #11 at Skulpturenpark Köln.
The current edition of the fair for young artists and galleries is headed by founding director Peter Bläuer. He stepped in when former director Joanna Kamm retired from office at the beginning of the year after a long illness. Liste Art Fair takes place parallel to Art Basel and was founded in 1996.
