Non-partisan committee campaigns for the Moutier Concordat

Following the Jura government, the Jura parties in favor of the concordat on the change of canton from Moutier are also speaking out. The SP, Greens, Center, GLP and the small parties PCSI and CS-POP presented their arguments at a press conference on Friday. The vote on the concordat will take place on September 22 in the cantons of Jura and Bern.
The "Mouvement autonomiste jurassien" (MAJ) movement is mobilizing its forces in favour of a massive Yes vote, said Secretary General Pierre-André Comte, who initiated the joint appeal by the Jura parties for a Yes vote. The SVP and FDP did not join this cross-party committee.
The supporters of the change of canton from Moutier to Jura want to prevent a low voter turnout or a close result. If the population in one of the two cantons votes no, Moutier would remain in Bern
