The "OneLog" service used by numerous Swiss media is still out of service following a hacker attack last Thursday. The incident is currently being investigated.

"OneLog" is working at full speed with all companies involved to restore services in the next few days, it said on Monday. Sensitive data such as credit card information would not be managed by "OneLog".

In addition, extensive investigations are being carried out to determine the full extent and specific impact of the cyber attack. OneLog is also in contact with the relevant authorities in Switzerland and the EU.

The paywalls are temporarily deactivated

Readers of the affected media brands can continue to access all content without logging in. However, other services associated with logging in, such as commenting on articles, are not possible on many of the affected websites.

The OneLog service, which was launched a good three years ago, is used by over 40 online portals, including those of the major media companies Tamedia, Ringier and SRG.
