Party president of the FDP Valais resigns

FDP Valais President Florian Piasenta announced his resignation on Tuesday evening after four years in office. He cited professional reasons in a statement.
Piasenta, who is also the mayor of Salvan VS, succeeded René Constantin, who was also in office for four years. The deadline for submitting candidatures to succeed Piasenta as head of the FDP Valais is February 29, according to the press release.
